I recently had my account hijacked due to a scammer who used a very convincing link through the E-Bay my messages system.
Basically I placed a "Want It Now" add for an item and a few days passed and I got a message inviting me to look at an item they stated was already on E-Bay and all I had to do was follow the link with what looked like a proper ebay item number. Feeling really glad that the item I was in need off was available and someone had been so kind as to let me know of its existence and was giving me first refusal on it, like a fool I rushed in without thinking. On clicking the link a very convincing E-Bay sign in page appeared,
